Employee Referral Scheme: Email Announcing New Job

This referral sample email is really helpful when you want to inform your employees about a new job and ask them to refer qualified candidates. You can use it as part of your employee referral program.

You can customise this email template to include as many job details as you need. It’s best to keep it brief and add a link to the job advert so that employees can easily gain more information and promote it on their social media accounts. Don’t forget to explain how they can refer applicants and mention if there is a referral reward.

Remember not to make too many requests or employees can become fatigued and your Employee Referral Program becomes ‘noise’. If you’re hiring for a lot of people, it’s better to send a weekly email bulletin so employees aren’t inundated.
